Abstract:We've made great progress since the MeeGo project was announced in February of this year: MeeGo 1.0 has been released, providing a stable core foundation for application developers and a rich user experience for Netbooks and work is well underway on the next version of MeeGo, which will bring support for additional platforms and include a new handset user experience. You'll learn the latest about the MeeGo project, including updates on MeeGo governance and project structure, the MeeGo Architecture, roadmap, and compliance plans. You'll also gain a deeper understanding of key features in MeeGo 1.0 and the exciting additions planned for MeeGo 1.1.

Abstract:MeeGo is a powerful open source platform and offers many opportunities for innovation and customization. This session will discuss at a high level the options and approaches for customizing MeeGo for the smartphone and tablet markets, from kernel through UI.

Abstract:HI corporation has its expertise in developing unique UI for in-car devices, digital cameras, cell phones, and other types of embedded.  This session will discuss how to develop richer UI on MeeGo platform with HI’s technologies and future trend of UI  technology.

Abstract:MeeGo Platform consists of 3 layers, 1) OS , 2) Middleware and 3) User Experience. In this session you will hear about components and framework which form those, and also introduce you to a development style to take advantage of MeeGo and benefits of participation to the community from a practical point of view.
