2020年6月11日サンフランシスコ発 ー 業界の壁を越えたブロックチェーン技術の進化をめざして発足したオープンソース共同開発プロジェクトHyperledgerは、グローバルなエンタープライズ ブロックチェーン コミュニティに参加する新メンバーを発表しました。世界各地のマーケットからDB Systel GmbH、IOHK、IOVlabsを含む新たに8社がLinux Foundationが主催するマルチ ベンチャー、マルチ ステークホルダーによる取り組みに参加します。
他の多くの組織と同様に、ここ数ヶ月間のHyperledgerは、ウェビナー、オンライン イベント、オンライン交流会を通じたバーチャル コミュニティの構築へと舵を切り、25社の主要な企業メンバーが参加するプロダクション ネットワークTrust Your Supplierの立ち上げに関するChainyardとIBM Blockchainの詳細なケーススタディをはじめとしたコンテンツの充実化に取り組みました。このような転換期にあっても、バーチャル イベントConsensusへのメンバー参加や、Hyperledger SIG (Special Interest Groups) とワーキング グループの活発化など、コミュニティ活動を前進させてきました。また、異なるブロックチェーン同士の安全な連携を実現するブロックチェーン インテグレーション ツールHyperledger Cactusを、Hyperledgerの16番目のプロジェクトとして先月発表しました。
Hyperledgerのエグゼクティブ ディレクターであるBrian Behlendorfは、次のように述べています。

Hyperledgerは、企業グレードでオープンソースの分散台帳フレームワーク、ライブラリ、ツールを提供することにより、組織がそれぞれの商取引をサポートするための堅牢で業界に特化したアプリケーション、プラットフォーム、およびハードウェア システムを構築できるようにすることを可能にします。今回加盟したゼネラル メンバーは、Atomyze by Tokentrust AG、Binarystar、DB Systel GmbH、IOHK、IOVlabs、Public Mintです。
Hyperledgerは、さまざまな組織や個人の貢献や参加を尊重するオープンなコミュニティの育成を目指しています。そのため、事前承認された非営利のオープンソースプロジェクトや自治体は、会費なしのアソシエイト(賛助)メンバーとしてHyperledgerに参加できます。今回アソシエイトメンバーに参加した組織は、Global Blockchain Business CouncilとInterWork Allianceです。
